- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand customer needs and develop effective shipping strategies.
- Monitor and analyze shipping data and trends to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Create and maintain shipping schedules, ensuring all deadlines and delivery requirements are met.
- Communicate regularly with customers and vendors to provide updates on shipping status and address any issues or concerns.
- Manage and track shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential shipping issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Utilize supply chain management principles to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between different departments and teams to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
- Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Continuously evaluate and improve shipping processes and procedures to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and company profitability.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all shipping activities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure shipping plans align with company goals and objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends and new technologies to make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of International Shipping Regulations And Procedures.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Logistics Planning, Preferably In The Shipping Industry.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
Proficient In Relevant Software And Technology, Such As Transportation Management Systems And Microsoft Excel.
