
Procurement Buyer - Facilities

This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our facilities across the organization. As a Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services related to facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations. We are looking for a highly driven and organized individual with a strong background in procurement and facilities management. - Develop and implement procurement strategies for facility-related goods and services, in alignment with the organization's overall procurement goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and obtain competitive bids for various facility-related projects and purchases.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as facilities management and finance, to understand their needs and requirements.
- Monitor and track inventory levels of facility-related items and ensure timely replenishment when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure quality standards are being met by suppliers.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential suppliers and vendors to ensure a diverse pool of options for procurement needs.
- Manage and maintain a budget for facility-related procurement activities.
- Train and mentor junior procurement staff members, as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In A Facilities Or Construction Setting
Strong Negotiation Skills And The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Stakeholders
Knowledge Of Procurement Processes And Procedures, Including Sourcing, Contract Management, And Supplier Performance Evaluation
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions And Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities.
