- Coordinate and manage all aspects of marine personnel administration, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all marine personnel, including contracts, certifications, and training records.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding marine personnel.
- Act as a point of contact for all marine personnel-related inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop and implement effective strategies for talent acquisition and retention.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of marine personnel data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management.
- Plan and organize crew rotations and schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all vessels.
- Work closely with crewing agencies and third-party vendors to coordinate crew changes and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for marine personnel.
- Maintain a positive and supportive work environment for marine personnel, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends related to marine personnel management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Uphold the company's values and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and other compensation-related tasks for marine personnel.
- Prepare and submit reports on marine personnel activities, performance, and expenses to management as required.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the company's overall goals and objectives.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Marine Or Shipping Industry.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Workforce.
Knowledge Of Relevant Labor Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements In The Maritime Industry.
