- Oversee and manage the flow of cargo operations across the supply chain network.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cargo flow and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to coordinate and monitor cargo movement.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to cargo transportation.
- Analyze data and generate reports to assess performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and other external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of proficiency and productivity.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to streamline operations and increase customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with other departments to develop and implement innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments and proactively make recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with clients and partners.
- Ensure that all cargo operations meet quality and safety standards.
- Proactively identify and address any potential issues or challenges that may impact cargo flow.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Customs Procedures.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Managerial Role In The Cargo Or Shipping Industry.
Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Navis, And Microsoft Office.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Interact With Various Stakeholders.
