As the Cargo Flow Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, timely, and efficient movement of cargo across our global network.   1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient movement of cargo across our global network.
  2. Oversee and manage a team of cargo flow coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, operations, and customer service, to identify and resolve any issues that may impact cargo flow.
  4. Monitor and analyze cargo flow data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to the movement of cargo.
  6. Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure competitive rates for cargo transport.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, carriers, and port authorities.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of cargo documentation.
  9. Identify and manage potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions to cargo flow.
  10. Continuously monitor and improve processes and procedures to optimize cargo flow and reduce costs.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on cargo flow performance and any issues or challenges.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
  13. Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the cargo flow team and across departments.
  14. Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to effectively perform their roles.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Customs Procedures.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Cargo Flow Management, Preferably In The Maritime Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Manage Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Overseeing The Flow Of Goods And Optimizing Supply Chain Processes.
