Title Specialist

Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience in title services, title insurance or real estate closing• Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to title insurance• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:

1. Process and review title searches, title insurance documents and other related documents for accuracy and completeness.
2. Prepare title commitment, policies and endorsements in accordance with company guidelines.
3. Monitor title activities and follow up on title issues in a timely manner.
4. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to title insurance.
5. Facilitate the closing process by coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys and other parties involved in the transaction.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with title companies, lenders and other parties relevant to the title process.
7. Create and maintain accurate records of title transactions.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
