Product and Test Engineer

Product and Test Engineer who has a passion for development of high-performance CMOS products. We are looking for someone who is creative and can deliver novel solutions. As a member of the trail blazing team you would take a broad role. The position will have responsibility for engineering tools to be used in development, setting up system level test, developing hardware for stress testing, and developing the capability to generate test based on verification test suites. They will also be responsible for data analytics during characterization and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

The position requires someone who can develop platforms that will enable effective validation, qualification and transition the chip into production. Having a passion for investigating the unknown and getting deep learning in areas is a highly valued trait. Having the ability to create scripts/tools that to drive effectiveness of the team and build in methodology.

It is highly beneficial to have knowledge in all parts of semiconductor product development and manufacturing including characterization, qualification, fab, test, and packaging. Background in high performance products such as GPU and CPUs as well ASICs is beneficial.

The candidate will need to work across functions inside of Microsoft as well as manage multiple partners/vendors over multiple products to achieve the overall product manufacturing goals.
