Job Description

Evaluates new concepts and solutions in the pharmacy benefit space and provides thought leadership that is consistent with Microsoft’s global benefits principles. Leads design and adaptation processes that interpret new or emerging legislation and industry trends relating to pharmacy benefits. Drives healthcare benefit initiatives relating to pharmacy benefits, including developing roadmap and execution plans, and acting as project manager. Coaches the organization on mitigation strategies and potential legal and regulatory implications of prescription/pharmacy benefits changes by staying up to date on relevant legislation and policies; interacts with internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive mitigation of legal and regulatory implications. Establishes supplier relationships and negotiate competitive service contracts (for new and current suppliers) to define performance targets and deliverables.

Job Qualifications
  • 10+ years work experience in HR, Benefits, or related roles

  • Strong medical and pharmacy benefit plan knowledge and understanding of HDHP/HSA program requirements.

  • Experience with pharmacy benefit contracting, negotiation and audits
