Job Description

The CE Application Engineer Lead will be responsible for managing vendors for hardware configuration, communication setup and testing of EPMS/IOT for additions to electrical power systems in MS datacenters. Design drawings, device lists and IP lists are provided by the EPMS/IOT design team, which will detail the equipment, network, devices and IP addresses needed to configure the system. The Application Engineer will coordinate with Contractors and Commissioning Agents in development of commissioning test scripts to ensure EPMS/IOT activities are accounted for. On site activities will be as described in commissioning test scripts and the Microsoft Datacenter Commissioning Plan of Record (CxPoR).

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) programming and support.

  • Expert in EPMS device setup and SCADA implementations.

  • Working knowledge of EPMS and Building Automation Systems.

  • Working experience in Datacenters.

  • Experience working independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.

Compensation
