Datacenter Technician

Microsoft is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Datacenter Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and a passion for working with the latest technologies. Our team members must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and leverage their creativity and knowledge to ensure the success of our datacenters. The successful applicant will possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills and will have a strong understanding of datacenter operations and technologies, including cabling and networking, server and storage hardware, and virtualization. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Required qualifications include: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • At least two years of experience in a datacenter operations position • Knowledge of server and storage hardware, cabling and networking, and virtualization technologies • Experience with monitoring, system performance tuning, and capacity planning • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
