- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on water treatment systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze water quality data to identify any abnormalities or potential issues.
- Implement corrective actions to address any identified water quality issues.
- Utilize various testing methods and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Keep accurate records of water treatment processes, including maintenance schedules, chemical usage, and water quality data.
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and production operators, to optimize water treatment processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Coordinate with external vendors for the procurement of necessary chemicals and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in water treatment technology to continuously improve processes.
- Train and mentor new water treatment technicians as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns related to water treatment systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to water treatment and environmental safety.
Knowledge Of Water Treatment Systems: A Water Treatment Technician At Micron Technology Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Water Treatment Systems, Including Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange, And Ultraviolet Disinfection.
Experience In Water Quality Analysis: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience In Conducting Water Quality Tests And Analyzing Results To Ensure Compliance With Regulatory Standards.
Problem-Solving Skills: As A Water Treatment Technician, One Must Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues That May Arise In The Water Treatment Process, Such As Fluctuations In Water Quality Or Equipment Malfunctions.
