Vice President, Tax

We are looking for a highly motivated Vice President of Tax to join the team at Micron Technology. The successful candidate will be an experienced tax professional with a keen understanding of the complexities of tax law. As a strategic leader, the VP of Tax will be responsible for developing and implementing a global tax strategy that supports Micron’s overall objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and implement effective solutions.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of tax experience with at least 5 years of management experience, ideally in a high-tech or public accounting firm. A CPA or a Master’s of Science in Taxation is preferred, but not required. The VP of Tax must also have a comprehensive understanding of US and international tax law, including the latest tax regulations. 7. Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and other stakeholders.
8. Prepare and review tax returns, tax provisions, and other documents.
9. Monitor and assess the impact of proposed tax legislation.
10. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
