- Conduct DFMEA analysis on hardware designs to identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure DFMEA is integrated into the design process.
- Identify and implement best practices for DFMEA methodologies.
- Analyze and interpret data from DFMEA analysis to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain DFMEA documentation and reports.
- Communicate DFMEA findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and engineering teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in DFMEA techniques.
- Work with suppliers to evaluate and improve their processes to increase the reliability of components.
- Lead DFMEA reviews and facilitate discussions with team members to ensure thorough analysis.
- Provide strategic solutions to minimize risk and improve the overall quality and reliability of hardware designs.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Quality teams to ensure DFMEA requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on DFMEA methodologies and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for DFMEA processes and procedures.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of DFMEA activities and results.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Hardware Design And Development, With A Focus On Dfmea
In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Dfmea Methodology
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Failure Modes In Complex Hardware Designs
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Upper Management.
