- Design and develop PCB layouts for cutting-edge products using industry-standard software and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful production of high-quality PCBs.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PCB design and fabrication techniques to continuously improve the design process.
- Create detailed design documentation including schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Ensure designs meet all technical and manufacturing requirements, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to PCB design, layout, and fabrication.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components for PCB production.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall design quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all designs and revisions.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to perform testing and validation of PCB designs.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Keep track of project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of PCB designs.
- Adhere to all industry standards and regulations related to PCB design and fabrication.
- Mentor and train junior team members on PCB design best practices and techniques.
- Proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues that may impact the successful completion of PCB designs.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all designs and documentation.

Proficiency In Pcb Design Software: A Qualified Pcb Designer At Micron Technology Should Have A Strong Knowledge And Experience With Industry-Standard Pcb Design Software Such As Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, And Mentor Graphics Pads.
Understanding Of Pcb Manufacturing Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Processes Involved In Pcb Manufacturing, Including Schematic Capture, Layout Design, Gerber File Generation, And Dfm (Design For Manufacturability) Guidelines.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Pcb Designer Must Have A Solid Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Ipc (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) Standards And Rohs (Restriction Of Hazardous Substances) Compliance, To Ensure The Design Meets All Necessary Requirements.
Strong Technical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Job Of A Pcb Designer At Micron Technology Requires A High Level Of Technical Proficiency And The Ability To Solve Complex Design Problems.
