  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on specialized equipment used in the production of integrated circuits.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment, and develop solutions to ensure efficient operation.
  3. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  4. Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs for tracking and reporting purposes.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure equipment is running at optimal levels and production goals are met.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and changes in equipment technology.
  7. Provide training and guidance to other technicians on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
  8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to report any issues or concerns that may impact production.
  9. Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a high level of quality and precision.
  10. Continuously monitor and improve equipment performance and efficiency to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Strong Technical Background And Expertise In Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, And Repair. This Includes Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems, As Well As Experience With Computer-Controlled Equipment.

  • Experience In Semiconductor Industry: Previous Experience In The Semiconductor Industry, Specifically In Equipment Maintenance, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Candidates With Experience In A Cleanroom Environment And With Knowledge Of Semiconductor Processing Equipment Will Have An Advantage.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Id1 Equipment Maintenance Technician, You Will Be Responsible For Maintaining And Repairing Highly Sensitive And Complex Equipment. It Is Crucial That You Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Are Able To Identify And Address Any Issues Or Potential Problems With The Equipment.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Equipment Malfunctions Can Be Complex And Require A Systematic Approach To Troubleshooting. The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Identify And Resolve Issues Efficiently.

  • Team Player: At Micron, Teamwork And Collaboration Are Essential For Success. The Id1 Equipment Maintenance Technician Will Work Closely With Other Technicians, Engineers, And Production Staff To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of Equipment. The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Communicate Effectively Is A Must For This Role.
