- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems within the facilities to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues or malfunctions with mechanical systems and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to optimize facility operations and implement new technologies.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and recommend improvements to enhance facility functionality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and upgrades to mechanical systems as needed.
- Create and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for all mechanical systems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Monitor and analyze energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility expansion projects.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
- Respond to emergency calls and take appropriate action to resolve issues promptly.
- Continuously identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve the overall efficiency of facility operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Engineering, Specifically In Mechanical Systems Design And Operation.
Proficient In Autocad And Other Relevant Design Software.
Knowledge Of Building Codes, Industry Standards, And Regulations Related To Mechanical Systems.
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Mechanical Issues.
