
Executive Director, Micron Foundation & Social Impact
The Micron Foundation & Social Impact team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Micron’s philanthropic investments and social impact efforts. You will be a key member of the leadership team and will work closely with Micron’s executive management, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders to establish and implement the Foundation’s strategic objectives.The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to philanthropy and corporate social responsibility. You should possess a passion for creating meaningful change through philanthropic investments and social impact initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and to have a direct impact on Micron’s philanthropic giving and social impact activities.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field• Seven to ten years of professional experience in philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, or related field• Proven track record of success in managing and implementing philanthropic and/or social impact investments• Knowledge of grantmaking and evaluation processes• Proven ability to lead change initiatives and foster collaboration across teams• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic objectives of the Micron Foundation & Social Impact team.
- Lead the development and implementation of philanthropic investments and social impact efforts.
- Work closely with Micron’s executive management, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration across teams and lead change initiatives.
- Develop and implement creative solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
- Manage and implement philanthropic and/or social impact investments.
- Evaluate grantmaking processes and monitor impact.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track progress and report on project performance.
