- Install and maintain all ELV (extra low voltage) systems, including but not limited to CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and data communication systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues related to ELV systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and ensure the proper functioning of all ELV systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to design, install, and upgrade ELV systems as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to make recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and installations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols when working with ELV systems to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on proper installation and maintenance procedures for ELV systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues.
Knowledge Of Electronic Low Voltage (Elv) Systems: A Candidate For An Elv Technician Job At Micron Technology Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Elv Systems, Including But Not Limited To Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, And Audio-Visual Systems.
Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Technical Expertise In Troubleshooting, Repair, And Maintenance Of Elv Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Elv Systems.
Experience With Installation And Commissioning: A Qualified Elv Technician Should Have Experience In Installing And Commissioning Elv Systems. This Includes Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings, Mounting And Connecting Devices, And Testing And Calibrating Systems.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: As An Elv Technician, The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Work Well In A Team Is Crucial. This Role Often Involves Collaborating With Other Technicians, Engineers, And Project Managers, So Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential.
