Job Description

Micron Technology is looking for a Dry Etch Process Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes that will help us deliver world-class technology products. We are looking for a person with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field. You should have at least three years of experience in semiconductor and/or microelectronics process development. A background in dry etch process and equipment is preferred, as well as experience working with gas delivery systems and plasma equipment. We want someone with strong analytical skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.If you have the qualifications and enthusiasm for making an impact in the semiconductor industry, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and optimize dry etch processes that will help deliver world-class technology products.
  2. Use strong analytical skills and creative mindset to troubleshoot process issues.
  3. Work with gas delivery systems and plasma equipment to ensure optimal process performance.
  4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  5. Maintain accurate records of process development and data.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize existing processes and suggest new ones.
  7. Provide technical support, training, and guidance to team members.
  8. Stay up to date with advancements in dry etch process and equipment.
  9. Monitor process performance and make adjustments as necessary.
  10. Implement safety procedures and adhere to all safety regulations.
