Director, Tax Accounting and Reporting

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the tax accounting and reporting team in the preparation of US GAAP and income tax provision and related disclosures
2. Review and provide guidance on tax compliance matters
3. Ensure that the tax accounting and reporting function is in line with the company’s policies and procedures
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP and income tax accounting and reporting principles
5. Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure the most efficient tax outcomes
6. Collaborate with stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns
7. Monitor ongoing changes in tax legislation and regulations and ensure compliance
8. Analyze financial data and develop actionable insights to ensure the most efficient tax outcomes
9. Manage the timely completion of tax audits
10. Prepare and present tax accounting and reporting reports to senior management
11. Provide guidance and training to staff in the tax accounting and reporting function
12. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external auditors
