Internal Communications Manager, Strategic Response

We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our Strategic Response team at Meta Platforms. This critical role is responsible for spearheading our internal communications strategy to create an open dialogue with our employees and ensure they are informed, engaged, and connected to our mission. The ideal candidate should have a minimum five years of experience in corporate communication, preferably in a software engineering organization. You’ll need excellent written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating meaningful internal communications initiatives.If you have a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders, a genuine interest in advancing the internal communication landscape, and an enthusiasm for the Meta Platforms mission, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement an internal communications strategy to ensure effective communication with employees.
2. Design and execute a variety of internal communication initiatives, including town hall meetings, newsletters, and other forms of communication.
3. Write and edit content for internal communications, including announcements, policy updates, and other materials.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of messages to employees.
5. Create and maintain an internal communications calendar to keep employees informed of upcoming events and initiatives.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives on an ongoing basis.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective internal communications.
8. Identify opportunities to improve internal communications practices and processes.
9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in internal communications.
10. Work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure alignment of internal communication initiatives with company culture.
