
Camera and Depth Characterization Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Camera and Depth Characterization Manager to join the Meta Platforms team. This individual will be responsible for leading the characterization of camera and depth sensing technologies to ensure the best product performance. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of image sensors, optics, and 3D sensing technologies, and be able to work across the organization to ensure the success of our products. If you are passionate about driving innovation and excellence in camera and depth sensing technology, this is the job for you. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, optics, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in camera and depth sensing technology.• Familiarity with 3D sensing technologies such as stereo vision and structured light.• Expertise in image sensor characterization, lens distortion, and calibration.• Proven technical leadership skills and experience with product development.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and lead camera and depth sensing characterization programs.
- Analyze and interpret data from camera and depth sensing technologies to ensure product performance.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure successful product development.
- Develop test plans and procedures for camera and depth sensing technologies.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues associated with camera and depth sensing technologies.
- Develop and present reports to stakeholders regarding camera and depth sensing characterization results.
- Provide technical guidance to teams on best practices for camera and depth sensing technologies.
- Research and evaluate emerging camera and depth sensing technologies.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in camera and depth sensing technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
