Job Description

At Meritus Health, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically.As the Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sourcing strategy for Meritus Health. You will also identify and evaluate potential vendors, and negotiate contracts to ensure that Meritus Health meets its cost, quality, and timeline objectives.We are seeking a self-motivated professional who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams, has excellent communication skills, and is highly organized and detail oriented. The successful candidate should have at least three years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additionally, knowledge of public procurement regulations and experience with ERP systems is preferred.If this position sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for Meritus Health that meets cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
  2. Source and evaluate potential vendors in order to select the best option for Meritus Health.
  3. Negotiate contracts with vendors in order to secure the best terms and services.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the sourcing strategy is successfully implemented.
  5. Monitor vendor performance and ensure that contractual obligations are met.
  6. Ensure compliance with public procurement regulations.
  7. Utilize ERP systems to manage vendor information and purchasing processes.
  8. Maintain up-to-date records of all sourcing activities.
  9. Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry and market trends.
  10. Analyze data and create reports to track progress and identify areas of improvement.
