Sterile Processing Technologist

Meritus Health is looking for an experienced, dedicated Sterile Processing Technologist to join our team. As a Sterile Processing Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all medical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use, as well as managing the supply inventory and maintaining proper records.To be successful in this role, you should have at least one year of experience in a sterile processing department, a knowledge of medical terminology and sterilization techniques, and the ability to follow safety protocols. You should also be highly organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a team environment. Responsibilities:

1. Sterilize medical instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and sterilization techniques
2. Ensure all medical instruments and equipment are ready for use
3. Manage medical supply inventory and ensure inventory is properly documented
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sterilization procedures
5. Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations
6. Provide support to medical personnel as needed
7. Work in a team environment to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
8. Provide excellent customer service and maintain good interpersonal skills
9. Remain up-to-date on new sterilization techniques and equipment
10. Troubleshoot sterilization and equipment problems as needed
