Job Description

Meritus Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Infusion Center team. As an RN in the Infusion Center, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to those receiving treatments such as intravenous (IV) therapy, blood transfusions, and chemotherapy. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in infusion services, strong critical thinking skills, and is detail-oriented with a passion for providing quality care.To be considered for this position, you must possess a current RN license in the state of Maryland, as well as at least 3 years of experience working in an infusion center or similar setting. Additionally, you should be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.At Meritus Health, we believe that our staff should be dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide patient-centered care to those receiving treatments such as intravenous (IV) therapy, blood transfusions, and chemotherapy.
  2. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
  3. Maintain a current RN license in the state of Maryland.
  4. Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  5. Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Monitor patient health and progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  8. Be knowledgeable of medical standards and regulations related to infusion services.
  9. Ensure that all patient records are kept up-to-date and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
