Registrar Trauma

As Registrar Trauma, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the front desk and coordinating patient registration. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.The successful Registrar Trauma should possess a minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting, working with a variety of electronic patient records systems. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable of medical terminology and coding, as well as HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations. The ability to work with diverse populations and maintain a friendly demeanor in high-pressure situations is a must. Above all, the ideal candidate should be a team player, committed to providing excellent customer service and care.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers at the front desk in a professional manner.
2. Accurately register patients and enter information into the electronic patient records system.
3. Verify insurance coverage and explain billing processes.
4. Coordinate appointments and schedule follow-up visits.
5. Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
6. Adhere to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations.
7. Maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
8. Stay up-to-date with medical terminology and coding.
9. Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
10. Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
