• Develop and maintain the overall vision and strategic direction for the Family Medicine Residency program at Meritus Health
• Oversee the educational and training activities of the family medicine residents, ensuring they meet the highest standards of excellence
• Collaborate with the faculty and staff to create a curriculum that is up-to-date, comprehensive, and in line with industry standards
• Recruit and supervise faculty members and other staff involved in the residency program
• Provide guidance and support to residents, including mentoring, advising, and monitoring their progress
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the residency program, in accordance with accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to residency programs
• Maintain and manage the program's budget, including allocating resources effectively and identifying areas for improvement
• Foster a positive learning environment and promote a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and professionalism among residents and staff
• Collaborate with other departments and organizations to enhance the program and create opportunities for residents' learning and growth
• Represent the residency program and Meritus Health at conferences, meetings, and other events as needed.
