1. Perform blood draws and collect other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Prepare and label samples accurately and ensure they are properly stored for testing.
3. Follow established procedures and protocols for specimen collection, handling, and transportation.
4. Keep accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.
6. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns or fears.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized.
8. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize the risk of infection and ensure patient safety.
9. Continuously monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for blood draws.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection and testing.
11. Attend training and development programs to stay updated on new techniques and procedures.
