Peer Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds to provide emotional support and resources.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with members of the community and other organizations to assist in providing effective support.
3. Assist individuals in identifying and overcoming obstacles that are preventing them from achieving their goals.
4. Facilitate workshops and group discussions to foster community support and understanding.
5. Provide crisis intervention services when necessary.
6. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
7. Collaborate with other departments and organizations to ensure clients are receiving the necessary resources.
8. Advocate for clients to ensure their needs are being met.
9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
10. Remain up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
