Occupational Therapist

Meritus Health is looking for a highly-skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and offering guidance to families and caregivers. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, a current state license, and at least two years of experience in the field. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for patients • Evaluate patients’ progress, modify treatment plans, and document progress in patient records • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety precautions • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care for patients • Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers • Develop patient-centered goals and objectives to help patients reach their maximum potential • Utilize current technology to improve patient care • Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed • Maintain current professional license and certifications
