  1. Perform nuclear medicine procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
  2. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring its proper calibration and functionality.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition before, during, and after procedures.
  4. Prepare and explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  6. Accurately record and maintain patient records and images.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide a comprehensive and accurate diagnosis.
  8. Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians, providing clear and concise information.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of nuclear medicine.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  13. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Center.

  • Excellent Knowledge Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
