- Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during the scanning process.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Accurately record and document patient information and scan results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper scan protocols and image quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients about the scanning process and answer any questions or concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with current technology and techniques in the field of MRI.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during scans.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in quality control and improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of scans and patient information.
- Assist in training and mentoring new MRI Technologists.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Attend continuing education and training opportunities to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.
Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mri.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist.
Knowledge Of Mri Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
