- Perform laboratory tests: Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests, including blood and urine analysis, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
- Analyze test results: Interpret and analyze laboratory test results with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain laboratory equipment: Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
- Follow protocols and procedures: Adhere to all standard protocols and procedures for handling and testing samples to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Record and report findings: Record test results accurately and in a timely manner, and report abnormal findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Monitor quality control: Perform quality control checks on equipment and samples to maintain the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent contamination and ensure the safety of all personnel.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results for diagnosis and treatment.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments: Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and procedures to continuously improve laboratory services.
- Provide excellent patient care: Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, while ensuring their comfort and privacy during testing procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Laboratory Tests And Procedures, Such As Blood Draws, Cultures, And Chemical Analyses.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Technology, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Maintain Equipment.
