Job Description

Meritus Health is looking for an experienced and motivated Manager to lead our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is an important and highly visible role that will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center and ensuring that the highest standards of patient care and customer service are met.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare management role, including experience in operating room and ambulatory surgery center management. They must have a detailed understanding of applicable regulations, including Joint Commission accreditation standards, and a demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality. In addition, the ideal candidate must be a leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, able to inspire and motivate a team of highly trained professionals. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the daily operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center to ensure the highest standards of patient care and customer service.
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including Joint Commission accreditation standards.
  3. Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality.
  4. Lead and motivate a team of highly trained professionals.
  5. Foster a team environment.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports.
  7. Monitor patient satisfaction and make necessary adjustments.
  8. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality and safety.
  9. Liaise with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate services.
  10. Create and manage budgets.
