Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse

The Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.The successful candidate must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nursing license from the state of Maryland and have at least two years of experience in an acute care setting. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate good organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients in an acute care setting • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate feedback to patients, families, and physicians • Maintain patient records and document patient care activities • Utilize problem-solving and multitasking skills to ensure the highest quality of patient care • Remain up-to-date on current standards of practice and regulations • Maintain professional relationships with other healthcare personnel • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgement to make decisions • Monitor and administer prescribed medications
