Imaging Assistant

Meritus Health is seeking an Imaging Assistant to join our team! This role is ideal for an individual that has a passion for healthcare and is looking to make a difference in the lives of our patients. The Imaging Assistant is responsible for providing patients with excellent service, assisting with clerical duties in the Imaging Department, and providing technical support to staff.The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED with at least one year of experience in a medical office setting. They should also be highly organized, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to multi-task. Previous experience with medical office software and familiarity with medical terminology is a plus. Responsibilities:

1. Assist patients with excellent customer service in the Imaging Department
2. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments
3. Provide technical support to staff in the Imaging Department
4. Familiarize oneself with medical terminology and medical office software
5. Work well in a team environment
6. Take initiative when needed
7. Maintain patient confidentiality
8. Ensure all safety protocols are followed
9. Ensure patient records are complete and accurate
10. Follow all departmental procedures and protocols
