- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assist medical staff in performing various procedures and treatments for patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to medical staff.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for use in the Emergency Department.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations and provide necessary support to medical staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the Emergency Department.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with necessary information and reassurance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care for patients.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Continuously assess and improve upon own skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.
- Handle difficult and stressful situations with professionalism and compassion.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards patients, their families, and fellow staff members.
- Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork in the Emergency Department.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Current Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna)
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Hospital Or Urgent Care Setting
Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment.
