Job Description

At Meritus Health, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As a Communications Clerk, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate information to patients, their families, and other visitors.In order to be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience in an office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of customer service principles is also required. Responsibilites:

  1. Provide timely and accurate information to patients, their families, and other visitors.
  2. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  3. Respond to inquiries from patients, their families, and other visitors.
  4. Process and distribute incoming mail and other materials.
  5. Assist in scheduling appointments and making follow-up calls.
  6. Maintain filing systems and other records.
  7. Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry and filing.
  8. Maintain a professional and organized work environment.
  9. Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  10. Assist with other duties as assigned.
