- Observe and assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and staff.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Record and report any observations or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Help with basic patient care tasks, such as taking vitals and assisting with daily living activities.
- Attend and actively participate in training and educational opportunities provided by Meritus Health.

Relevant Education And Experience: A Clinical Observer At Meritus Health Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Nursing, Medicine, Or Allied Health. Additionally, Previous Experience In A Clinical Setting, Either As A Volunteer Or Through Internships, Is Preferred.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinical Observer, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Interact With And Build Rapport With All Individuals In A Healthcare Setting.
Attention To Detail: As A Clinical Observer, You Will Be Responsible For Closely Monitoring Patients And Accurately Recording Their Vital Signs And Other Important Information. This Requires A Keen Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Pertinent Data Is Captured Accurately And In A Timely Manner.
Ability To Work Nights And Weekends: The Clinical Observer Position At Meritus Health Is For Part-Time Nights, Which May Include Weekends. Therefore, Applicants Must Be Able To Work A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During These Hours.
