We are currently seeking a Part-time Clinical Educator to join our team at Meritus Health. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in educating and training our staff on the latest evidence-based practices in mental health and addiction treatment.   1. Develop and deliver educational programming to staff on evidence-based practices in mental health and addiction treatment.
  2. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in mental health and addiction treatment to ensure that training materials are current and relevant.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to identify areas for improvement in staff knowledge and skills.
  4. Assess staff training needs and customize educational programs accordingly.
  5. Conduct trainings for new staff members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality care to our patients.
  6. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to ensure that they are implementing best practices in their work.
  7. Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
  8. Work closely with clinical leadership to identify training priorities and develop strategies to address them.
  9. Facilitate discussions and activities to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
  10. Serve as a resource for staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and agencies to coordinate educational opportunities for staff.
  12. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in teaching and mental health treatment.
  13. Maintain accurate records of training activities and staff participation.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in the delivery of educational programs.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of Master's Degree In A Mental Health Field, Such As Social Work, Psychology, Or Counseling.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably With Individuals With Mental Health Disorders.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities For Various Mental Health Conditions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Current Licensure In The State Of Maryland As A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Lcpc) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw).
