Access Registrar- Outpatient

Meritus Health is seeking an Access Registrar- Outpatient to join our team. The Access Registrar- Outpatient will be responsible for ensuring all patient registration needs are met in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, and must be computer literate. The position also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and register patients, verifying patient information and entering it into the electronic system.
2. Collect patient forms, insurance cards, and other pertinent information.
3. Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures.
4. Ensure that patient registration processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
5. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
6. Resolve patient complaints in a timely manner.
7. Offer information on the services and procedures provided by Meritus Health.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
9. Assist in other administrative tasks as needed.
