Travel Registered Nurse, Med Surg

1. Provide top-notch medical care to patients in various locations while adhering to MercyOne's standards of practice and policies.
2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
4. Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and medications, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
8. Perform nursing procedures and treatments as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and medications.
10. Keep abreast of current nursing practices and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
11. Follow all state and federal regulations and standards of nursing practice.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing MercyOne in various locations.
13. Display empathy, compassion, and patience towards patients and their families.
14. Adhere to budgetary and time constraints while traveling to different locations.
15. Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in various work environments and cultural settings.
