RN - Pediatric Urgent Care

The perfect opportunity has just opened up for a Registered Nurse to join our team at MercyOne's Pediatric Urgent Care! We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN to provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in our walk-in clinic. The ideal candidate is an experienced RN who is passionate about working with pediatric patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you must possess a current RN license and have a minimum of two years of experience working in a pediatric urgent care environment. Familiarity with the medical software system and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are also essential. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a knack for problem-solving. Above all else, our team is looking for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent care and customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer nursing care to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting
2. Utilize medical software to maintain patient records
3. Monitor and assess patient vital signs
4. Provide education and advice to patients and their families
5. Multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area
7. Work collaboratively as a part of a multidisciplinary team
8. Follow all safety protocols and regulations
9. Maintain a current RN license
10. Provide excellent customer service and care to patients and their families
