MercyOne is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Pulmonary and Critical Care team. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary and critical care needs.   1. Provide comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary and critical care needs.
  2. Work closely with experienced physicians and healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.
  3. Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of respiratory and critical care conditions.
  4. Monitor and manage patients' progress and response to treatment.
  5. Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  8. Utilize evidence-based practice and current research to guide decision-making.
  9. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of pulmonary and critical care.
  10. Demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills in all aspects of patient care.
  11. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of protocols and policies.
  13. Provide support and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare team members.
  14. Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
  15. Collaborate with community resources to facilitate continuity of care for patients.
  16. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and conferences.
  17. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  19. Comply with all regulatory and institutional policies and procedures.
  20. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree In Nursing (Master's Or Doctorate) With A Specialty In Pulmonary And Critical Care.

  • Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner By A Recognized National Certifying Body (E.g. Aanp, Ancc).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Pulmonary And Critical Care.

  • Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Where Mercyone Is Located.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Advanced Practice Nursing Principles, Procedures, And Techniques Related To Pulmonary And Critical Care.
