Paramedic

At MercyOne, our team of Paramedics serves a critical role in delivering quality, compassionate care to our patients. We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Paramedic to join us and help us continue to make a difference in people’s lives.The ideal candidate for this role should possess a current Paramedic certification, a valid driver's license, and a minimum of one year of experience as a Paramedic. Additionally, they should be a team player, possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, and have a passion for providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

-Provide quality, compassionate care to patients in line with MercyOne standards

-Assess patient health and administer treatments as needed -Conduct medical exams and administer life-saving measures when needed -Respond to emergency calls and provide onsite medical attention -Create detailed patient care reports -Transport patients to medical facilities when necessary -Maintain and update knowledge of current medical treatments and procedures -Maintain all necessary medical certifications and licenses -Work collaboratively with other medical personnel to ensure optimal patient care -Communicate effectively with patients and their families -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
