1. Perform high-quality and accurate ultrasound exams on pregnant patients, including transabdominal and transvaginal scans.
2. Utilize ultrasound technology to assess fetal growth and development, as well as identify any abnormalities or potential complications.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and timely care to pregnant patients.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations during the ultrasound process.
5. Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies to ensure proper functioning and availability for patient exams.
6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the ultrasound process.
7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff during ultrasound exams.
8. Document and maintain accurate records of ultrasound exams, including images and patient information, in electronic medical records.
9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and attend training or continuing education programs as necessary.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience at all times.
11. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement new protocols and procedures to improve the quality of care provided.
