
Nurse Practitioner- Critical Care
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MercyOne in the Critical Care Department. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing compassionate care to critically ill patients, demonstrate strong clinical and organizational skills, and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. In addition, they must have at least two years of experience in critical care. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a timely and effective manner.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of critical care best practices and guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to nursing and critical care.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, treatments, progress, and outcomes.
- Assist in the training and development of new staff members.
- Participate in research projects and other initiatives to improve patient care.
Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In Critical Care
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Board Certified In Advanced Practice Nursing
Licensed As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Iowa
