Food Service Associate

We’re looking for a dynamic, hardworking Food Service Associate to join our team at MercyOne! Our ideal candidate has an eye for detail and a passion for creating a safe and efficient dining experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.The Food Service Associate must possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and a commitment to upholding our standards for safety and quality. We require at least 1 year of experience in a food service setting and a high school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities of a Food Service Associate:

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff
• Ensure food service areas are clean and sanitary
• Prepare food items in accordance with established safety and quality standards
• Follow all food safety protocols and guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, portion control and waste
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with stocking and restocking food items as needed
• Operate kitchen equipment and other food service equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
