You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends, benchmarking data, and conducting internal surveys to ensure our physician compensation remains competitive.To excel in this position, you must have a deep understanding of physician compensation models and regulations, as well as strong analytical and interpersonal skills.   1. Develop and implement strategic physician compensation plans to attract and retain top medical talent.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including physicians, executives, and human resources, to ensure fairness and competitiveness in physician compensation practices.
  3. Analyze market trends, benchmarking data, and conduct internal surveys to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  4. Stay up-to-date on regulations and changes in physician compensation models to ensure compliance.
  5. Work closely with human resources to develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation plans and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Communicate with physicians and other employees to address any questions or concerns about compensation.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and consultants to gather market data and insights.
  9. Provide guidance and support to department managers and leaders on compensation decisions and practices.
  10. Prepare and present reports on physician compensation to senior leadership and the board of directors.
  11. Ensure that all compensation decisions are fair, consistent, and aligned with the organization's goals and values.
  12. Handle any issues or conflicts related to physician compensation in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Lead training and development programs for managers and leaders on compensation practices and policies.
  14. Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation-related expenses.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's overall compensation strategy to support the recruitment and retention of high-quality physicians.
