CNA Neurosurgery

We are looking for a highly motivated, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Neurosurgery team at MercyOne. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients in a safe and caring environment.The ideal candidate will have a current CNA certification and at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. They should also possess strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

1. Provide high quality care to all Neurosurgery patients in a safe and caring environment.
2. Ensure patient comfort and safety by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
3. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rates, and other medical indicators.
4. Assist patients with basic needs, such as bathing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
6. Maintain patient records and charts accurately and timely.
7. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
8. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
9. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
10. Follow all HIPAA laws and regulations in regards to patient privacy.
